TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bookings: are only provisional until a completed and signed booking form together with the agreed deposit has been received by the Adventure Company Limited (hereafter referred to as the Company).
The Company reserves the right to decline bookings without explanation. Deposits are non refundable, please see cancellation policy. Bookings will assume acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Age: Participants (hereafter referred to as you), must be at least 12 years old to participate in any/all of the activities. Some bespoke courses may have a higher age limit.
Vouchers: are non-refundable and non-transferable and are only valid when marked with the Company stamp. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue unless agreement has been reached with the site manager.
Alterations and Cancellations (by the Company): Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure that the sessions and courses actually run on the correct dates, the Company reserves the right to vary or cancel any sessions/courses should this be deemed necessary, i.e. due to dangerous or unsuitable weather conditions. In the unlikely event of this happening, an alternative date will be offered and mutually agreed. (This has not happened in 6 years).
Alterations and Cancellations (by you): If you cancel your booking, for whatever reason, please let us know by phone asap and follow this up in writing. In this case the following charges will apply.
Paintball:
Within 4 weeks of the booking date, no charge.
Within 3 weeks of the booking date, 10% administration charge.
Within 2 weeks of the booking date, deposit is forfeited
Within 1 week of the booking date, 50% of the average spend will be charged.
Deposits are used against the final bill, deposits will be lost upon failure to attend the event.
Individual Deposits are transferable for the same day.
Team Building:
Within 4 weeks of the booking date, 10% of the agreed fees.
Within 3 weeks of the booking date, 20% of the agreed fees.
Within 2 weeks of the booking date, 50% of the agreed fees.
Within 1 week of the booking date, 100% of the agreed fees.
Change of date will be by negotiation, charges may still be payable.
Corporate Events:
These events are tailor made to suit the individual client and are usually exclusive.
Deposits (25% of the total cost) to secure the event need to be made at least 4 weeks in advance.
Cancellations within 4 weeks of the event will incur a fee of 15% of the total cost of the event.
Cancellations within 3 weeks of the event will incur a fee of 25% of the total cost of the event.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event will incur a fee of 100% of the total cost of the event.
Re-arranging of the event may be agreed but may also incur additional costs.
Invoices for services by prior negotiation only. Invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt.
All quoted prices are plus v.a.t. at current rate.
Punctuality: You must make adequate travel arrangements to arrive in time for the agreed start. Failure to do so may mean you missing the all important safety briefing, and whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you, you may or may not be allowed to participate. In this case you will not be entitled to a refund.
Fitness: A high standard of fitness is not required for most of the events, however it is advisable to seek medical advice if you feel that an existing health problem may be aggravated by the activities. Please advice us of any such problems which will be treated in confidence. Should the safety marshal or instructor deem that you are unfit to participate for any reason whatsoever, then you will be withdrawn from the course/event without refund.
Behaviour: The Company will not allow the behaviour or attitude of any individual or group, to jeopardise the safety or enjoyment of other participants, or Company staff. In the unlikely event of this happening the offending person(s) will be removed from further participation. Alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited during or prior to any activities or courses, and if it appears that you are under the influence of or in possession of such items, then you will be prevented from any further participation, no refunds will be given.
Safety: The risk factor relevant to the Company’s activities has been assessed and safety factors have been introduced to minimise the risk. Should Company staff deem that you are jeopardising your own safety or that of other participants, then you will be removed from the course/event with no refund. Should participants fail to adhere to safety instructions or behave in a manner likely to cause loss or injury, then the Company cannot be held responsible for any subsequent loss, illness or injury, howsoever caused. Copies of the risk assessment are available on request.
Equipment: Participants are responsible for the safe keeping of any/all equipment issued to them for the duration of the event. Loss or malicious damage to such equipment will be charged to the person/group responsible. All equipment must be returned at the end of the session and before leaving the event site.
Personal property: You are responsible for any personal belongings which should be either locked in your vehicle or left in the Company’s office, in the latter case although all reasonable precautions will be taken, no responsibility will be taken by the Company for any loss or damage howsoever caused.
Country Code: All participants are encouraged to follow code at all times that you are visiting our woodland. Please respect animals and wildlife, do not break branches off trees and shrubs, and dispose of cigarettes safely.
Insurance: The Company holds Public Liability and Employers Liability insurance which can be viewed at the office.
However personal insurance for loss of personal items, accidents or injuries is not provided by the Company and participants should make their own arrangements for this if they feel it is necessary. In the unlikely event of injuries occurring, staff should be informed immediately who will then take appropriate action.
Child Protection: A child protection policy is in place and can be viewed on request.
GUARANTEEThe Company is so confident in their ability to provide FUN activities, that we guarantee that if you leave our site after participating in a Paintball session, and you have not had any FUN, then please contact the Company for a claim form which should be returned to the Company office, and if valid a refund of your Game Fee and Hire of Equipment will be gladly given. Excludes bookings made through Booking Agencies.
